Workforce Boost

Workforce Boost provides a collaborative platform for labeling services in a self-serve manner. This service is a great fit for enterprises that don't have the technical expertise to build a machine learning system yet are looking for an easy-to-use technology to get a quick turnaround on quality training data.

There are two options for engaging with our Workforce Boost services: Boost and Boost express.

Boost express

Boost express is for customers who are looking for a quick labeling solution. Boost express offers a streamlined process for quickly getting data labeled with all communicated taking place in-app. Paying with a credit card allows you access to a dedicated team of labelers.

Computer vision and natural language only

For those on an Education or Starter license Boost express is only available for simple computer vision and English natural language processing tasks.

Sign up for boost express

Follow these instructions for signing up for Boost express:

1. Create a labeling project and add labeler instructions.
2. From the project overview, click on the Labelbox icon on the bottom right corner of any page. Then, click on “Submit a request”.
3. Answer a few questions about your labeling goals.
4. After you submit your response, a workforce team will respond to you with your first labels or requests for clarification, if needed.

Boost

If you have an enterprise license, you have the option to add Boost to your organization license.

To add Boost services to your enterprise contract, contact our sales team.

Bring your own workforce

If you would like to use your own labeling workforce, rather than use the Labelbox workforce, follow these steps:

1. Add your workforce team to your account as members.

2. If you want their access to be restricted to a certain project, you can assign them project-based roles.

3. Assign someone on the team an Admin or Team Manager role so they can manage their members connected to your project.

Adding your own independent workforce by adding an ID in the External workforce tab is not recommended.
