New workflow experience
Learn how to manage and customize project workflows with the improved workflow editor.
Starting April 1, 2025, we will roll out a new experience for the Workflow setting. This update introduces an interactive, node-based editor that makes it easier to add and manage workflow tasks and logic in a unified way. While the interface has been improved, all existing functionality remains the same, and your current workflow configuration will not be affected.
View workflow info
The new workflow editor lets you see a breakdown of data rows in each workflow status:
Edit workflow
To edit your workflow, click the Edit workflow button, then add or edit nodes directly in the editor. Use hotkeys of the buttons to undo or redo actions while editing. Use the Reset button to revert to the default layout.
Add filter logics for tasks
The new workflow editor allows you to set up the filtering logic for entering a custom task separately from configuring the task itself, making it easier to manage complex workflows and reuse logic across tasks:
Add and manage custom tasks
To add a custom review or rework task:
Connect logics to tasks
After creating custom review or rework tasks and the entering logic, arrange and connect them in the workflow:
Add multiple terminals
The new editor includes terminal nodes that represent the default Rework and Done tasks. You can create multiple terminal nodes instead of connecting everything to a single Rework or Done node, making your workflow easier to read and visually cleaner. Adding multiple terminals does not create additional tasks and is purely for improving the visual layout.
Adjust the editor view
You can adjust how the workflow editor is displayed to fit your screen or focus on specific tasks. You can also apply auto-layout to organize all nodes for a clearer view:
